If you have any old shoes you can donate it would be great and help so many people. It also saves your old shoes going to landfill or being shredded to make flooring amongst other things.

Bramcote Hills Golf Course Development Plans – Report on Public Meeting

BHCA LogoA public meeting called by Bramcote Hills Open Space Protection Group (a sub-committee of Bramcote Hills Community Association) was held yesterday evening in the Main Hall in Bramcote College, Moor Lane to discuss the the outline planning application for Bramcote Hills Golf Course. 143 residents attended the meeting. Broxtowe Borough Councillors for Bramcote Ward, David Watts and Ian Tyler were present. The third Bramcote Ward Councillor, Stan Heptinstall was unable to attend due to Mayoral commitments.

Bramcote Hills Open Space Protection Group members gave a presentation. Ian Radmore opened the meeting saying that the purpose was to discuss the outline planning application for a retirement village on the site of the old Bramcote Hill Golf Course. Mike Johnson gave a brief history of the site, previous planning applications and showed a number of slides which illustrated the sites situation as an important open space and wild life corridor. Following the meeting on Wednesday Mike Johnson promised to forward emails to everybody who gave their email address to (BHOSPG) on the sheets that were handed round.   If you are expecting to receive an email from Mike Johnson about making comments to Broxtowe Borough Council then you should have received the email now.
